Regular visitors will have seen a number of developments on the calendar!

I now have filters working correctly:
• Be patient whilst the calendar loads its data. There is a lot of information now!
• The basic setting shows only Optimist and General events.
• Tick the box to port of the label to show events for that class.
• The 'County' boxes equate to school holidays:
  • Argyll shows holidays for those following the Argyll & Bute 'Helensburgh' calendar.
  • Lomond shows the 'Lomond School' holidays
  • Borders shows the Scottish Borders holidays
• Hover your cursor over the event for a location 'tooltip'.
• Events are colour-coded to try and help.
• Links (where available) take you to the relevant site - and open in a new 'popup' window. This may not work as expected if you have a pop-up blocker installed.
• Behind the scenes, the calendar is driven by a set of data files. I have a separate file for each class, a file for multi-class events (e.g. the Zone Championships), and a file for 'special' dates (like Easter). A volunteer to maintain a class specific file would be gratefully welcomed! Contact the webmaster for details.
• Additional classes can be added to the calendar for planning purposes. Requests should be sent to the webmaster, and if there is sufficient demand the class can be added. If you suggest another class, are you prepared to maintain the event file? Your chances of seeing it are higher if you are!
• Additional school holidays can be added. Again, details should be sent to the webmaster, preferably with a gif of the appropriate logo.

The calendar engine is entirely written in javascript, and has been enhanced from the offering provided by (and licensed from) ScriptCalendar.
